Becoming Top Knot-ch. How It All Started.

Top Knot Company began on a road trip through South Carolina, the home state of the Boykin Spaniel. After searching in vain for Boykin Spaniel merchandise, we realized that this beloved breed deserved more recognition. Inspired by our own love for the Boykin, we decided to create a brand that celebrates the breed with unique, high-quality items. We can’t wait to share our passion with fellow Boykin Spaniel enthusiasts.

We just wanted to take a minute to be transparent.. we want to start by thanking everybody for the support from the start of this brand, we were blown away, and honestly things exceeded our expectations. Here’s the deal, we thought we had some of the production aspects figured out, and failed on our end to produce in a timely manner with the shirts. We will shoulder the blame, as we thought we had that aspect figured out, and had expected timely turnarounds. We want to fail forward from this and grow. Everyone has been extremely understanding and respectful. We haven’t done a launch, as we want to dial things in before we get rolling again. This brand is meant to be fun and educational, and a way to give back to Boykin Spaniels, BSS, and The BSR. That’s what we will continue to do. Next time you see some designs available will be some shows in the near future, and we will make announcements on that. All ordered shirts will be delivered soon, and we will be sure to throw in some extras for the patience.
